Women in the villages have been organised and made aware. For this, MUS has organised events to make women aware of small cottage industries, condiments farming, honey bee keeping, etc. A limited number of women have also been imparted vocational training like embroidery, weaving and knitting, painting, tailoring etc., so they can strengthen their economic condition.
An integral part of women empowerment activity is women’s rally with slogans of women empowerment and panchayati raj. Wall writing and poster pasting are being done and handbills distributed.
