Education is bedrock of awareness and a healthy society cannot be imagined without education. In view of this, MUS is has made people in the villages aware about education through women groups,SCs, STs and OBCs. Illiterate women were imparted knowledge of alphabet and skills to make their signatures. Parents of girls not attending school were made aware of the importance of education and many girls were admitted to the schools.
The organisation is conducting awareness camps, seminars and workshops in the interest of the disabled, SCs, STs and OBCs. Attempts are underway to arrange financial assistance through the welfare programmes of the Government.
Impressed with the work of the organisation, the National Trust of the Government of India nominated MUS as a representative of the Local Level Committee for running welfare programmes for mentally and physically disabled people (vide order no. 2475/RL1A/2007 dated 14 March 2007).
